Building on the foundation of Medical Essentials I, this course advances your skills in critical trauma care following a violent encounter. Previously learned techniques will be reinforced and expanded, focusing on developing a comprehensive medical assessment and associated interventions.
A significant portion of this course is dedicated to hands-on skill stations, addressing interventions for complex wound modalities and emphasizing improvised techniques when commercial medical equipment is unavailable. In the afternoon, students will apply their knowledge in scenario-based training, navigating realistic, high-pressure situations designed to test their ability to manage traumatic crises effectively.
