Building upon the lessons learned in Close Range Rifle/Carbine I-III, CRR/C Applied Tactics focuses on teaching and pressure testing your ability to apply tactics in a realistic, protective environment. This course emphasizes movement and fighting to and from cover, gaining the initiative, and adding to your tactical advantage while enhancing your critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in complex scenarios.
Given the likelihood that you may encounter a situation with a partner or loved one, the afternoon session will introduce partner tactics and how to effectively work with those around you to leverage a decisive advantage in a dynamic, potentially lethal-force encounter. While taking this course with a partner or family member is encouraged, it is not required. Students will be paired with a fellow classmate during the afternoon session.
